Start your perfect day with one of Marla and Joe’s bountiful candlelit breakfasts.
Then it is out the door for a walking tour of the second largest historic district in Michigan.
   
Next, stroll through Riverside Park on the way to Depot Town 

While in Depot Town , stop in to see Carol at Salt City antiques and Nelson Amos at the Nelson Amos Art studio. 
Enjoy lunch al fresco at one of several choice sports: The Sidetrack, Café Luwak or Aubree’s in Depot town or Beezy’s downtown.    After lunch take in a museum or two.   The Fire House Museum, and The Antique Care Museum are in Depot Town.  Halfway between Depot Town and Downtown is The Riverside Arts Center where you can see the latest art show or The Historic Museum.   And if art is your passion, don’t miss the What Is This art gallery on Michigan Avenue downtown.  Other stops you will enjoy Downtown are The Rocket, World of Rocks, Simply Devine, and Bombadill's.  All are must sees while in Ypsilanti.
 Then come back to The Queen’s Residence for an afternoon siesta.  The hammock in the courtyard garden is perfect! If that is taken, try a wicker rocker on the veranda or take a relaxing soak in the private outdoor hot tub.
  
After dinner enjoy the free crossroads music festival in downtown Ypsilanti (Friday nights) and for a special treat stop in at Bowerbird Mongo, our favorite antique store, which is only open on Friday and Saturday nights. 
After your busy perfect day come back to the inn for another soothing soak in the hot tub.   Finally, retire for the evening to the comforts of your luxury room where you can watch a movie, listen to your favorite music, or simply drift off to sleep cocooned in luxurious linens and down.
