Welcome to the Queen’s Residence…our home is your home!  Our goal is to pamper you and to make sure that your every need is met whether you are coming for a romantic get-away weekend or are traveling on business.  A stay at the Queen’s Residence is like a well earned retreat at a luxury spa.  You can unwind in the privacy of our outdoor hot tub, reserve an ensuite full body therapeutic massage, or simply relax in the warm and inviting atmosphere of our premier Ann Arbor/Ypsilanti historic Bed and Breakfast.
                      
The Queen’s Residence provides guests with the grandeur of a spacious manor home while maintaining the intimacy of a much smaller inn.  We have purposely limited the number of guestrooms to ensure that each one of our guests is treated like royalty.  The shared spaces in our 5500 square foot luxury inn are beautifully appointed with antiques and plush seating for your comfort and enjoyment.  The ambience recalls a time past and is a prescription for slowing down and being in the moment!   For our guests who truly want to find an escape, our authentic 18th Century Tavern is Ypsilanti’s hidden treasure!  This tavern is only for the use of our guests who want an intimate dinner (ordered in) or for small private parties by appointment.   The location of the tavern in the lower level ensures that the quiet peacefulness of the inn will not be disturbed.  

The guestrooms at the Queen’s Residence are elegant and luxurious, combining   old world charm with modern amenities.   The rooms are large and clean, each with a private bath.   We feature top-end mattresses, Egyptian cotton linen, down bedding (or down-alternative upon request) and plush towels.   Each guest room has a satellite radio, cable TV with DVD and/or VCR.  Each room is complete with comfortable seating for your evening’s pleasure and work spaces for business travelers.  Free wireless internet is available throughout the house.

After a good night sleep you can look forward to waking up to the aroma of one of Marla and Joe’s delicious hearty full breakfasts any day of the week! Welcome the new day with a cup of our free-trade coffee or tea in the library while breakfast is being prepared for you. We feature organic granolas and yogurt, fresh fruit, fresh home-baked goods, and a variety of delicious main courses, such as our signature Decadent French Toast.  Free-range eggs are used in all our cooking.  When you make a reservation, we ask if you have dietary restrictions or food allergies.  Our motto is that if you go away hungry, it is your own fault! 

The Queen’s Residence is conveniently located within walking distance to restaurants, shops, and the riverfront.   It is just minutes by car to parks, golf courses, and Ann Arbor.   Ypsilanti has the distinction of being the 5th largest historic district in the United States, so there is plenty to explore.
